In my little cabin

In my little cabin
in the middle of the wood,
I awake and see the seasons,
and my heart sings all is good.
I listen for the birdsong
wafting softly through the breeze
And see God blow his lifebreath
gently through the trees.
Alone here in my cottage,
alone here in my wood,
I awake and see the seasons,
and my heart sings all is good.
